Single room: 1–3 days; whole-home lighting plan staged with remodel timeline
Scope
Recessed, pendant, and accent lighting planned for how you use the room—not just what looks good in a catalog photo. Installed by the same crew handling your remodel or electrical work.

Homeowners updating kitchen, living, or bath lighting—or adding recessed and accent fixtures during a remodel

- Fixture placement and circuit plan
- Install, dimming, and switch coordination
- Cleanup and walkthrough
How it works
- 1
Walk the space and how you use it
We look at natural light, task areas, and existing circuits. Good lighting plan starts with how you cook, read, or gather—not fixture count alone.
- 2
Plan fixtures and circuits
Recessed layout, pendants, under-cabinet, and switches spelled out in writing. Circuit and panel capacity checked before we order fixtures.
- 3
Install and tune
Fixtures set, dimmers where scoped, and we walk the room with you at the right time of day when possible—so you see what you are getting.
What to expect
Helpful to have ready
- Photos of lighting you like—recessed, pendants, under-cabinet
- Know if this ties into a larger remodel or is standalone
- Access to attic or ceiling space where we need to inspect on consultation day
May not be the right fit if
- You only need a bulb swapped or a single fixture wired to an existing box with no planning
- Panel capacity cannot support the plan—we will tell you on the walkthrough if an upgrade comes first
Common questions
- Do you supply fixtures or do I buy them?
- Either works. We can recommend fixtures and include them in the estimate, or install what you purchase—we confirm compatibility on the walkthrough.
- Can lighting be part of a kitchen remodel?
- Yes—and it should be. Planning lighting with layout and electrical avoids rework and extra drywall patches later.
- Do you offer free estimates?
- Yes. Lighting estimates are free for Maryland homeowners in our service area.
